Preo-Top

Preo-Top steel fibre mix

The top combination of two benefits: maximum bending tensile strength and outstanding postfailure behaviour in one material.

Jointless industrial floors for efficiency

Joints are an important cost factor when laying industrial floors – and a weak point which will require maintenance. KrampeHarex® offers the tried and tested steel fibre mix Preo-Top and various composite fibre concretes specifically for industrial floors with large joint areas. Preo-Top combines the bending tensile strength of milled steel fibres with the excellent post-failure behaviour of steel wire fibres. To improve the shrinkage behaviour, during the summer months KrampeFibrin® polypropylene fibres or KrampeFibrin® glass fibres should be added to the steel fibre mix.

steel fibres

SF 01-32

Milled steel fibres with a rough surface for greater resistance to cracking.

Traditional industrial floors with joints

Industrial floors have to meet the highest standards, especially in terms of their resistance to cracking. No problem for KrampeHarex® steel fibre reinforcement. Even while the concrete is still fresh, Krampe-Harex® steel fibres absorb any shrinkage tensions that occur and stop shrinkage cracks early. This makes even large distances between joints possible. Once the concrete has hardened, resistance to cracking is greatly increased by the extremely strong bond between the concrete matrix and the KrampeHarex® steel fibres.
